Manuscript submission does not guarantee publication. All submissions undergo initial editorial review. We reserve the sole right to decline manuscripts that fail our quality benchmarks or genre requirements. Editorial appraisals are typically completed within 24 to 48 hours of receipt.
Publishing involves artistic and market variables. Milton Publishing makes no guarantees regarding sales volume, bestseller status, royalty profits, or retail shelf placement. All promotional examples and historical metrics are illustrative of past outcomes and not warranties of future performance.

Agreed production fees must be remitted prior to the commencement of each stage of service. Invoices are issued in GBP, USD, or EUR as agreed. Authors remain responsible for local taxes applicable within their fiscal jurisdiction.
Cancellation requests made prior to the commencement of editorial or design work are eligible for a refund minus administrative costs. Once custom creative labor (copyediting, bespoke typesetting, or original illustration) has started, fees are non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
You grant Milton Publishing a non-exclusive, limited operational licence solely to edit, layout, print, and distribute your book as instructed by your agreement, and to display cover art and brief excerpts for promotional purposes. Milton Publishing’ internal tools, branding, and proprietary templates remain our exclusive property.
Distribution is facilitated across major retail platforms (including Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, and Gardners). We are not liable for retail platform algorithmic shifts, listing disruptions, or independent policies enforced by third-party retailers.
Authors agree to provide accurate information, review proofs thoroughly, communicate approvals in a timely manner, and verify final print-ready files prior to authorising volume print runs.
